Porsche 996 997 Turbo, Tubular Aluminum Surge Tank Manifolds

Our exclusive intake manifold replacements were designed for use in vehicles requiring copious volumes of air such as cars running large turbos or which have had head/engine work performed. Porsches running K24 or larger turbos will see significant benefits from our manifolds. The Surge Tanks increase air volume storage capacity by nearly 30% over the factory plastic manifolds.

In addition to increased capacity, these Surge Tanks provide another significant benefit over the factory units. No leaks! Ever wonder what the two lower openings on your factory manifolds are for? They're not actually FOR anything on the 996 Turbo. They are plugged on either end and serve no purpose, other than to provide two additional locations for leaks. Our manifolds reduce the number of openings on the manifold, which decreases the likelihood of leaks occurring.

Starting with 6061 aluminum and using our unique heat treating process, we form this ultra thin tube wall aluminum into the Surge Tanks you see here. The Surge Tanks are a direct replacement, stock fitment item which requires no fabrication and no relocation of other factory components.
