Porsche 996 911 Turbo Tubular Aluminum Intake Plenum and Turbo Inlet Ducts

By replacing the factory fuel filter with a higher quality, aerospace aluminum filter, we were able to increase the space available for the air intake plenum. In doing so, we were able to create a tubular intake system which is nearly 30% larger in diameter than the stock unit, thus increasing the air-flow volume and velocity into the turbo inlet ducts.

The next bottle neck in the system was the ducts themselves. We removed the factory cast aluminum/plastic ducts and created our own 70mm ducts from 6061 aluminum. Our inlet ducts offer a radically larger diameter than the factory units.
